I’m excited to share that I will be running the 2026 Boston Marathon, proudly supporting a program that means a great deal to my family and me — Hopkinton Boys Lacrosse.
Since moving to Hopkinton in 2004, this community has been home. Our children have grown up on its courts and fields, playing soccer, basketball, and lacrosse, and we’ve witnessed firsthand how youth sports shape confidence, character, resilience, and friendships. Hopkinton Boys Lacrosse continues to embody the pillars that make youth athletics so impactful — teamwork, accountability, hard work, and family. These values not only build stronger athletes but stronger young men who carry these lessons far beyond the field.
This year’s marathon has special meaning for me. In 2025, I underwent a cardiac ablation to address atrial fibrillation, opening the door for me to return to a sport I love. Being healthy enough to run again — especially on a stage as iconic as Boston — is something I don’t take for granted. I’m honored and grateful to take on my second Boston Marathon, and to do so in support of an organization that represents the very best of our town.
Hopkinton’s sports community continues to grow because of the passion and dedication of volunteer coaches, families, and supporters. By contributing, you help ensure that future players have access to positive, meaningful experiences that teach life skills, build confidence, and strengthen our community.
I invite you to join me on this journey by considering a donation to Hopkinton Boys Lacrosse. Every contribution directly supports the development of our young athletes and helps keep Hopkinton’s tradition of strong youth sports thriving.
Thank you for your support — and for being part of this incredible experience.
